The popularly known Ghanaian broadcast journalist and host of the most talked-about “Good Morning Ghana” has recently expressed his immense disappointment in the Akufo Addo government aside from questioning the incumbent President’s main motive behind the construction of the National cathedral even though most Ghanaians agreed otherwise.
Speaking on the issue of the construction of the National Cathedral amidst the huge money the government had spent over the past couple of years, Dr. Randy Abbey boldly urged the incumbent President, Nana Akufo Addo to do the needful and shouldn’t play with the faith of devoted Christians in the country amidst the economic hardship in the country.
“The foundation of everything is extremely important. This thing that we are talking about today or whatever it is, what were we told from day one. I am a Christian and if I can afford it, I will build churches and also support the building of churches and all that. You don’t mock God. God is not a foot soldier or an NPP or NDC supporter. You cannot bring God into your partisan and political things; it’s not right. The issue of trying to play on people’s faith and beliefs that, the Cathedral is for God and make it look as if anybody who has criticism or objection to something is going against God is satanic”, Dr. Randy Abbey emphatically revealed.
