The world as at now experiences new disease frequently. Some years ago, the world was hit by the deadly coronavirus which claimed a lot of lives across the globe for which Ghana was a victim. This lead to the downfall of the economies of all countries which fell victims of the pandemic.
Reporting from TV3 news’s correspondent in the northern region, a suspected case of Ebola has been identified and many are now in fear. Ebola hit the country some years ago but was not that severe as how the coronavirus was.
Upon the hearing of this news by the community members, they were very terrified but they were assured by the director of the facility that the suspected case at hand is under control. Samples of the patient has been taken and sent to the national laboratory for further investigation.
As at now, the suspected case is now a confirmed Ebola case as the tests proved positive and treatment has commenced as said by Mr Fuseini Mahama, Northern Regional Disease Control Officer.
