Clubs in the English Premier League have been busy with the transfer window trying to beef up their teams for the upcoming season. Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs have made some significant signings which will further strengthen them. But Arsenal has been a bit quiet in the transfer window. We haven’t seen much action from them as expected. After having a not-so-impressive season, we the fans are expecting that they will strengthen the team.
That has become their nature. As usual, they have been linked with a lot of top players but none ha e come in yet. They have been able to sign Matt Turner, Fabio Viera and Brazilian sensation Marquinhos. They have been linked to Gabriel Jesus, Raphinha and Youri Tielamans in the last few weeks. I won’t be surprised if nothing concrete comes out of these links as we have become used to it as fans.
If we want to make a much more significant impact next season, we must be decisive in the transfer market. We must spend to get in the right materials.
