Transfer News: Ghanaian Players Updates -Baba Rahman to Leave Chelsea, Kofi-Kyereh Close to Freiburg

With the Summer Transfer Window approaching and most of the European Leagues on break, several clubs now have the opportunity to bring in additional players to provide competition for the existing squad, likewise sell also and on such note here are transfer updates on Ghana players abroad.

A rising star in 2015 led Chelsea to sign him for a reported fee of €20M from Augsburg.

The Ghanaian left-back on the latest reports has been placed on the transfer list this summer after he failed to live up to expectations.

Spent last season on loan in the Championship with Reading, it is understood several clubs are after him this summer. His former sides Augsburg, PAOK, and Reading, all express interest alongside French outfit Rennes and English Championship Middleborough.

The 27-year-old last season in the English Championship played 29 games -scored once alongside an assist. And according to the transfer market, he’s valued at €3M.

Werder Bremen reportedly withdrew from the race for the in-demand midfielder, league rivals Freiburg on the latest reports are the frontrunners to land the 26-year-old as personal terms agreed.

The Bundesliga outfit won the race at the expense of rivals Mainz 05 and Turkish giant Besiktas and are expected to meet a fee of €4.5 for the Ghanaian.
