Ghanaians have many ways of reacting to the actions of celebrities. They either hail these celebrities or troll them. Readers can recall how during one of Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s live radio worship sessions, she dedicated a song to his excellency Akufo-Addo, wishing him well and congratulating him for his good work. Despite the ongoing issue with the government’s decision to invest millions of dollars in a National Cathedral, Diana Asamoah indicated that Ghanaians shouldn’t be ungrateful for the good things Nana Akufo has done. In the video, Diana likened herself to NDC’s Appiah Stadium. She even stated that she is as fearless as Appiah Stadium.
For social media commentators, Diana Asamoah’s open affiliation with the Nana Addo government means her stomach is concerned. Social media users have tagged her with Paul Adom Otchere, another person who trended for being described as a stomach journalist. There have been interesting reactions after Diana Asamoah made such revelations about Nana Addo. It is expected that Paul Adom Otchere would do a touch screen on Tuesday 21st June 2022 on many trending political issues and we hope he addresses that of Diana Asamoah.
Queku Oteng asked if she was in the right frame of her senses.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene indicated that Nana Addo has indeed transformed her from a gospel musician to a now political foot soldier.
Isaac Adam indicated that because he once enjoyed her songs, he reserves his comment.
Kwesi Poqu described her as the Paul Adom Okyere in the music industry.
Steve K. Elorm described her as a screen touch musician probably linking her to the reputable Paul Adom who uses the touch screen to defend government decisions.
Daniel Yinmalya indicated that she is benefiting from the bad situation. Daniel further added that, where Evangelist Diana Asamoah’s stomach is concerned, she can not see things the same way as other Ghanaians.
Maxwell Akpabli explained that a time would come when she would stop enjoying the current government to enable her to reason with other Ghanaians.
Millicent Korkor described Evangelist Diana Asamoah as a gospel musician turned politician. Millicent indicated that Nana Addo’s best is very abysmal.
What are your thoughts on the ongoing discussion? Do you think Evangelist Diana Asamoah was right in stating that Ghanaians should not be ungrateful for the good things Nana Addo has done? Was it good for her to have added some politics to her show?
