The popular veteran Kumawood actor, Paa George has heaped praises and shown his gratefulness to the former President of Ghana, John Mahama in an interview. The popular actor praised Mahama to the extent of saying, He owes his life to John Mahama for saving him from something’s and always being there for him.
Paa George stated in an interview with TV XYZ that he owes his existence to John Dramani Mahama due to how charitable he has been to him in the past years. The experienced actor, whose performing career spans over twenty years, said he met the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the funeral of the late Super OD. According to him, after every three months, the former President provides him and other veteran actors and actresses with food and cash to ensure that they have enough for themselves and their families.
“Mahama is a decent individual. I owe my current strength to him and God. He’s been so sweet since OD died and we attended to his funeral with him. At the funeral, he met with us and a few other veteran performers and actresses, and he has taken good care of us ever since. Every three months, he brings us things such as rice and oil, along with sardines. He adds money to cover our needs for the time being.” He said.
Paa George went ahead to say If not for Mahama, he would have being dead long ago due to hardship and suffering in this country. We hope he continues always doing the needful and touches lives.
