Veteran Ghanaian actress, Christiana Awuni has poured down her frustration about the circulation of false and fabricated stories by Ghanaian bloggers about personalities with the aim of tarnishing their images.

Speaking at the Showbizz Excellence Awards, Christiana Awuni lamented that the country’s progress and downfall depend on bloggers in the country, hence they ought to discharge their duties with diligence and accuracy.
She stated that most bloggers are fond of breeding controversies and scuffles among entertainment personalities by tagging other people on social media after another personality makes any utterances about other personalities.
The actress intimated that most of the captions used by some bloggers only aim at amassing views and followers for them on social media and at the same time, such captions tarnish the images of some of these personalities.
She advised that bloggers in the country ought to be mindful of the kind of news and captions they circulate on social media to prevent future eventualities between people and also help in developing the country.
In other news, Ghanaian singer, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, widely known as Lasmid has revealed that he is shocked at the rate at which his new song “Friday Night” is trending on social media.
Speaking in an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon on the “Convo With The Head” segment, the sensational singer revealed that he has more powerful songs which he was supposed to release before “Friday Night” but he is shocked at the rate at which the song went viral.
Lasmid revealed that with the help of the Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin and the TikTok star, Asantewaa, the song managed to break boundaries to amass enormous attention on social media.
He revealed that he was on set with Lilwin when he informed him about his decision to release two songs. He played “Friday Night” and instantly, Lilwin loved the song and they shot a short video just to aid in the promotion and in a short while, the song went viral.
