On social media,, Citizen Mat Johnson explained that, he don’t see the reason why Twi language should be used to preach inside Pentecost Churches in Volta Region. He wants their own Ewe language to be used.
His anger became worse after one Pentecost Pastor reportedly wanted a couple to take their marriage vow in Twi language. The protestant wants the Chairman of the Pentecost Church to change his ways of posting Pastors who can’t speak their language into the Volta Region.
In reacting to the protest, NDC’S Dzifa Gunu added his voice. He explained that, he would have walked out of the wedding venue if the pastor tried using Twi language to officiate.
