The Islamic Senior High School teacher who suffered severe injuries due to the unexpected clash of the students and police officers has recently come out to break silence aside revealing how he was going through immense pains due to how the policemen nearly took away his vision.
Speaking in a recent interview on Citi 97.3 FM, the Islamic SHS teacher who got mobbed by some of the policemen took the privilege to break silence aside and narrate his sad ordeal.
“I heard one of the policemen say, ‘He is one of the teachers’ but aside from that, it was a pre-incident that I was speaking with somebody and I told them that, nobody wished for a demonstration. It’s like they had a justifiable course so maybe, that was the reason it triggered the policeman to come and me ‘have I seen what my students are causing?’ and he landed slaps on me, fell on the ground and he used his gun on me. I can’t see properly unless they remove the bandages” the Islamic SHS teacher, Kofi Antwi emphatically revealed.
However, the chairman of parliament’s defense and interior committee, Kennedy Agyapong has unexpectedly called on the Roads and Highways minister to sack the Urban Roads director in the Ashanti region over the protest by students of Islamic SHS over bad road signals.
