Martin Amidu was one of the few people that Nana Addo clearly had hopes in. He believed that he could be a great asset to the development of the country and to his office as well. The office of the special prosecutor holds so much power and the least requirement in this office is to be controlled by another body.
But to Martin Amidu, it was a normal thing to be pushed around by Nana Addo to do his bidding. And this is what resulted in his resignation. Martin Amidu after speaking on how this government is fumbling with how to manage it has declared that he has made a terrible mistake.
He says his mistake was following Nana Addo and the Npp to campaign for the 2016 elections. The elections went in favor of Nana Addo who is referred to as untruthful according to Martin Amidu. Is this an act of betrayal or patriotism?
