The recent circulating news that has undoubtedly sparked massive stir, debates, and arguments across all social media platforms was when another prominent member of the NDC boldly ‘exposed’ the board of trustees championing the construction of the National Cathedral amongst other related issues.
Speaking on the most anticipated “Alhaji and Alhaji” show on Pan African Television, the former CEO of Ghana Free Zones Authority, Kwadwo Boafo boldly descended on the Board of Trustees made up of prominent Pastors who are known to be championing the construction of the National Cathedral aside highlighting that, they would’ve done the exact opposite of the former President, John Mahama was in power.
“One thing I will never do is deception in the name of God. Were we not told that the National Cathedral project had nothing to do with the taxpayer’s money? Akufo Addo’s personal promise to His God has now become a National project. You people have been deceiving us. The Architect, David has been paid $30 million for that hole in the ground and you people are telling us it’s a national project. All of you are quiet because you’re afraid. Shame on all of you; you’re afraid to talk but this too shall pass. When all of this is over, your names will be in the hall of shame because you were quiet. If this has happened under John Mahama, we will never have heard the end of it. They are the same pastors who when President Mahama wanted to arrange a pilgrimage for Christians to go to Israel in 2015, said Mahama should use the money on more pressing National needs but you want Akufo Addo to use Ghc350 million to construct a Cathedral in a flood-prone zone. So, if your God is there and it rains what will happen?. You people are disgraceful”, Kwadwo Twum Boafo emphatically revealed.
