The member of parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Honorable Kennedy Agyapong has reacted to the recent shooting incident at one Islamic Senior High School in Abrepo, Kumasi.
In an interview with the media recently, Kennedy Agyapong revealed that the Ghana Police service which is being led by Akuffo Dampare should train their members on how to control crowd during protest. He added that even though some persons may be stubborn during demonstrations and other protests, but people shouldn’t be treated like armed robbers. Kennedy Agyapong added that the police exceeded their boundaries on June 13th.
“We take a cue from what has happened to these students so that next time when Police are going out there, their team called crowd control ,they should know the ages of the people that they are going to deal with” he said.
Kennedy Agyapong, who is hoping to become the next President of Ghana also urged authorities to do the needful and sack the director of Urban roads in the region.
