A founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe has boldly revealed some bold secrets about the finance minister of this Akufo-Addo government, Ken Ofori-Atta. He described an action of this government, particularly the finance minister as shameful.
He made these known while speaking in an interview at his residence on Friday while they were discussing the failure of the finance minister to appear before Parliament and account for the Covid-19 money. He’s described the action as shameful and mentioned that, the minister shouldn’t have any problem if called upon to account for a money given him.
“I mean this is shameful. What is he afraid of? You have had ‘x’ amount of money for a particular project, come and account for it and that’s also a problem?” Mr. Nyaho Tamakloe boldly revealed this.
The Finance Minister, for the second time, swerved Parliament House when he was called upon to account for the Covid-19 funds. The Speaker of Parliament was very angry and told the minister to account for the funds or else, he shouldn’t ask for anything from the House.
