Enough Is Enough; My Ministry Will No Longer Tolerate Incapacitated Road Contractors – Road Minister

The minister of roads and highways, Honorable Kwasi Amoako-Attah was in parliament today to give some explanations and answer some questions relating to the road ministry.

In the course of his delivery, the minister made it clear that his ministry will no longer tolerate Incapacitated road contractors in the country. He added that some contractors apply to work on one key road project but they fail at the end because they didn’t have enough capacity for the job. He added that his ministry will no longer tolerate such contractors.

He however added that the government is ready to support the capacitated contractors at all times.

“I want to assure you that every contractor working on our roads that government is trying as much as possible to support everybody to deliver. But will also not take it kindly with contractors who come for job, knowing very well that they don’t have capacity to deliver. My ministry will no longer tolerate such contractors” he said.

This comes after some MPs raised series of issues about some road contractors who often fail them.
