It has been reported for weeks about the imminent departure of Senegalese forward Sadio Mané from Liverpool to Bayern Munich. Two offers were rejected by Liverpool from Bayern as the offers were seen to be below their valuation of the player.
Reports today indicates that, Bayern director Salihamidzic was in England for the past few hours and has reached full agreement with Liverpool over Sadio Mané’s deal.
Liverpool will reportedly receive €32m guaranteed plus add ons for a potential fee of up to €40m. There has already been an agreement of personal terms with a three year deal set to be signed in the coming days as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The former Southampton striker asked to leave right after the Champions League final which they lost to Madrid as he feels his chapter with Liverpool has come to an end.
He has so far won the English Premier League title, Uefa Champions League, FA and league trophies with the Liverpool.
If this deal is completed, that will be the third first-team signing after Mazraoui and Gravenberch signed earlier.
