A woman by the name of Akosua Addai was a trader at Bekwai when she came into contact with Boateng, they became friends before he proposed to her. Akosua asked him whether he is married or not but Boateng lied to her that he has divorced his wife. A few weeks later, she called to have a chat with him but she heard the noise of kids and a woman in his room.
She asked Boateng about it and he told her the truth that he has reconciled with his wife. Akosua said she decided to quit the relationship but Boateng convince her that he love her and will make sure to get married to her. The woman reveals that she conceived afterwards but after she gave birth, Boateng no more visit her, he also stopped doing the responsibility of a father.
She called him one day to inform him that she wants to give their seven months old baby to him so that his wife will take care of the child whilst she will travel to Accra and work. The man gave her a reply that his wife can’t take of the child but she can hand her over to someone before she will travel.
Akosua said she is not working and has been depending on her parents for food and other things, sometimes she sleeps with an empty stomach if her parents don’t cook. What worried her now is that Boateng has decided not to look after them again. According to Boateng concerning these allegations, the woman was having two children when they started dating, he even made it known to her that he has a wife.
The man said he made sure to provide everything she needed together with her two children. Months later, she travel back to her hometown to visit her mother who was sick. She spent so many months in her hometown without coming back, he even advised her to start working with the GHC500 cedis he gave her but she didn’t listen to him.
Boateng said he too went to visit them but the woman’s father revealed to him that Akosua said she wants to break up with him. After he left, Akosua again called to inform him that she is three months pregnant, he accepted it and look after her till she gives birth. Boateng said he has lost his job and doesn’t get any income from anywhere that’s why he has not been sending her money to cater for their child.
