Popular and Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has commented that the MP for Kwabenya, Honorable Sarah Adwoa Safo is paid salary and will be paid an ex -gratia but she will not be attacked like Togbe Afede if she doesn’t return her ex- gratia.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Thursday, 16th June 2022, Mannaseh Azure wrote;
She’s paid salary. She’ll be paid ex-gratia.
And she’ll not be attacked like Togbe Afede if she doesn’t return the ex-gratia.
Background
The comments of Mannaseh Azure comes as a background to the Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo’s long Absence from Parliament and government duties as Gender Minister.
Adwoa Safo previously explained that she is currently taking care of her unwell son and has to ensure all is settled before she resumes her duties as an MP and a Gender Minister.
The Privileges Committee of Parliament has summoned her to appear before it on July 6, 2022, over her absenteeism in the House.
