Rustum Gameli Senorgbe who had officiated the El Classico equivalent of the Ghana Premier League between Hearts and Kotoko said that the showpiece was not his favorite but a random game in the MTN FA Cup was what he enjoyed most. Lower-division side Real Athletico was playing against Accra Great Olympics at the Tema Sports Stadium and the match was not going in the favor of the big club. He said he always knew referees were always verbally abused by fans on the pitch but this one was exceptional to him.
“During the game, I whistled for a foul and close to the technical bench. The player remained on the field so I went close to access the situation. There I got closer to the fans behind the perimeter and as the medical team was attending to the player I heard a loud memorial voice.”
“hey, referee, ‘kwasia'(fool) your mother ‘ashawo’ (sex worker), lesbian. After hearing that I almost burst into laughter I quickly turned to the field and smiled.”

He said he quickly reported the matter to his wife who told him not to mind them. From that they he fell in love with Tema supporters.
