Journalist and host of the “Backpage” on Citi tv, Caleb Kudah has cried over the increasing fuel prices and pleaded with leadership to take a second look at the situation to assuage the difficulty on Ghanaians.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, the young journalist is seen sobbing and narrating an ordeal he went through after he saved some monies to fully fill his car fuel tank.
Fuel prices have significantly increased over the last few months and as usual has affected every aspect of the economy.
The government has attributed the increment to the price surge in world market as a result of the Covid19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

“Let us be truthful in this country fellow Ghanaians. Times are very and the hiking fuel prices is worsening the situation. Just yesterday, I used some money I have saved two fill my fuel tank thinking that it could last for two (2) weeks. Sadly, it couldn’t even last for a week. I don’t move around a lot but the fuel finished just like that and I have to refill. Zacheus is taking big taxes and using it to build cathedral, airport and a whole lot but the people are suffering. God, please expedite your second coming because we are suffering” he said amid sobbing.
Though, it appears that he is rather doing it lightly, he raises legitimate concerns.
