The 36-year-old left Accra on Saturday, June 11, 2022, to begin the course in Wales, where he will be in class for a six-day program leading to a UEFA B License certificate from the Football Association of Wales.It is a residential course designed for people who have played or coached in the professional game.
After departing Ghana Premier League team Legon Cities at the end of last season, the former Black Stars captain is without a club.Meanwhile, he has expressed his desire to return to the pitch, stating that he still wishes to play for his boyhood club, Asante Kotoko.With 51 goals, he is Ghana’s all-time leading scorer, and with six goals at the World Cup, he is Africa’s all-time leading scorer.
