A sad incident occurring at Damongo in the Savanna Region of Ghana indicates that a nursing trainee has been allegedly raped by a gang of soldiers and she is receiving treatment at West Gonja Hospital.
According to the news anchor, the nursing trainee came out of her dormitory in the evening but as to where she was going is not known.
The gang of soldiers came across the nursing trainee and pounced on her to rape her.
The nursing trainee screamed for help and this alerted a lecturer of the college but when the lecturer got to the scene, the soldiers have already finished the act and bolted away.
The nursing trainee was quickly rushed to the West Gonja hospital at Damongo in the Savanna Region for treatment to prevent any worse situation.
Finally, the nursing trainee is responding to treatment.
