The Marwako Fast food has been changed with Gh¢750. 000 by the Food and Drugs Authorities (FDA) for the incident of food poison.
They have promised to do what they can to by the instructions given to them by the FDA in order not to have problems with them.
“Marwako Fast Food Limited, we had to pay ¢750,000. With this release, we will see what we can do with this and see how best we will follow what FDA has asked us to do so that we will be on the same page with the FDA.
The Food and Drugs Authorities (FDA) has accused Marwako Fast Food of tempering with the processes established for detecting the cause of food contamination.
“If you look at one of the paragraphs, FDA indicated that the process to establish the root cause of the contamination has unfortunately been hampered by our management. This is where we have our bone to pick with the FDA”, says Amin Lamptey, Public Relations Officer of Marwako Fast Food Limited.
Marwako Fast Food is also setting independent investigations into the alleged Food contamination at their East Legon branch.
This follows the alleged food poisoning at the Marwako Fast Food at the East Legon branch in Accra that got a lot of people talking on social media.
