Blame Politicians For Making Your Life Difficult, Not Satan – Actress, Yvonne Nelson.

Actress Yvonne Nelson has always spoken clearly and widely on national issues devoid of any political sentiments. She was part of the headliners who spearheaded the “dumsor” demonstration during the Former President John Dramani Mahama’s era.

In this current Nana Addo’s era, she has consistently spoken of price hikes or inflation and the difficulties or challenges the ordinary Ghanaian faces. She seems to be a major critic of successive governments and she does that with so much objectivity.

As it is usual of Yvonne, she took to her twitter timeline today indicating that we all deserve what we are going through. She made this tweet on the back of individuals who attack and always defend the ills of the government without any logic.

In Ghana currently, the standard of living has skyrocketed beyond abnormal levels. Fuel and other essential items keep increasing by the day.

The actress in a tweet said satan should not be blamed for the challenges mankind is going through on earth but politicians.

“You think satan is on earth making your life difficult? It’s the politician, I can assure you of that!.”

After she had made this post, she received insulting comments and attacks from youths who are drowned in political waters and blinded by party colours.

Reacting to the comments, Yvonne Nelson said the people deserve the suffering because they do not want to hold politicians and people in leadership positions accountable.

“From the comments, you’d understand why the people keep suffering. The people themselves pamper politicians. I guess you all deserve how they treat you then. I pray you receive sense! I will block you if you bring your partisan self here.”

Leave your thoughts and comments below. Are young people really blinded by their party colours such that they will always defend the wrongs of the party at the expense of asking intriguing questions and calling for accountability? Or some young people have lost the ability to think about nationalism? Let us get interactive with your comments.
