A professional political journalist is one who praises politicians and governments, when they do the right things, and accordingly criticize them when they do wrong things. Afia Pokuaa today has proven that she is one of the professional and good political journalists Ghana has.
She applauded the Nana Addo led administration for renovating and re-opening the National Museum which was closed in 2015 so that refurbishing can be done there. It is interesting to know that in Afia Pokuaa’s previous post, she had clashed with a top NPP communicator over the increasing price of food in the country. This two occasions presents her as a neutral journalist and we need journalists like her to speak truth to the authority. And the end result is that, Ghana will experience an unprecedented development.
Background: President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially opened the National Museum Gallery which was closed for refurbishment in 2015.
The facility, located on the premises of the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board in Adabraka, Accra, had not seen any major refurbishment since it was first opened in 1957 to commemorate Ghana’s Independence Day.
