The personal driver of Jomoro MP Dorcas Affo-Toffey and one other have been arrested by the Police on the Spintex road for a traffic offense, and obstructing an officer from performing his duties. This arrest happen today after the driver and the Member of Parliament, Madam Dorcas Affo was driving carelessly and using the siren at the same time.

The MP’s driver reportedly refused to stop when Police officers attempted to stop him for driving in the middle of the road with the siren of the vehicle on. This act from the member of parliament and her driver is quite known in many other MP’s in this country. This made the police officers at post tried to stop them but they refused and drove away.
According to police sources, the MP who was in the car at the time ordered the driver not to stop when the officers attempted to stop them which made the officers to chase the vehicle. After a long chase, the car stopped for the police to arrive but later avoided any arrest from them. the passenger at the front seat of the four-whee vehicle of the lawmaker reportedly verbally abused the arresting officer.
