The recent circulating news that has raised massive concerns online was the member of parliament for North-Tongu on the ticket of the NDC finally dropped another unexpected secret about the money involved in the construction of the National Cathedral.
Speaking in a recent interview on the “Good Morning Ghana” show, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa unexpectedly revealed that, the Akufo Addo government unexpectedly paid the Architect who had been handed the National Cathedral project months before the Architect was given license to practice in the country which is as unacceptable and unlawful.
“The amount paid in full to Sir David Agyaye and associates limited. This is $6 million and as all the analysts are saying, this doesn’t happen in the industry. I have spoken to top engineers; one of my Godfathers who has practiced for 47 years and he said, that can never happen, it’s not part of the practice to receive $6 million even before the project commences; it is unusual”, Okudzeto Ablakwa emphatically revealed.
