The criticisms on Paul Adom-Otchere appear not to be dying down anytime soon even after he appeared on his show for the second time on the same matter to clarify his stance on the decision by Togbe Afede, Paramount Chief Of Anlo to return an ex-gratia paid him back to the State.
The criticisms have gone beyond him as you read this article, and now, some institutions are being drawn into the fray.
Whilst the “Brotherhood” of the Anlo State are calling on the Council of State to dissociate itself from the “attacks” by Paul Adom-Otchere on Togbe Afede, a staunch activist of the National Democratic Congress, Kevin Elikem Kotoko has reiterated that the silence of the National House of Chiefs, is an indication of their approval for the former’s act.
I’m a long write-up on his Facebook wall, he reiterated how worrying the silence of some revered institutions paints a picture of their approval of criticisms directed towards Togbe Afede XIV.
He was of the view that no person would dare not criticize an Akan Chief in that manner else the person “would not have the luxury of seeing the next daylight”.
