According to reports, the father is demanding a compensation of 1.5 billion old cedis alongside almost 1,700 Ghana cedis for his child’s medical expenses
” Ordinary Banku has landed these poor teachers in court. The father is so mean. Maybe he is having a problem with the school authorities already. What’s all this ” Prince Selasi Edem who appeared to be a teacher reacted to the news.
“There is one parent that is always a torn in my flesh. Always complaining about everything. I’ve never received any complain from any parents since I’ve started teaching but this one is seriously getting to me. I really love the kids and I try my possible best to aid them but this one is really getting over me. I don’t even know what to do.” Benedicta Smith also reacted.
“The work is really becoming something else.I always tell my colleague teachers that our learners’ parents don’t like us a bit. They laugh with us simply because we train their wards.” A sad teacher noted.
Explaining the matter to the court, the prosecution reportedly explained that Banku made the child sick after eating while the defence says they never fed the child with Banku.
The case has adjourned to next month June.
