The Government Who Are Supposed To Change The 1992 Constitution Is The NDC But Not The NPP -Nana Kay

The Asante Akim South Constituency First Vice Chairman hopeful, Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah but popularly known as Nana Kay reacts to Article 71 of the 1992 Constitution.

The officials who are supposed to change Article 71 of the 1992 constitution of Ghana are beneficiaries of the act so Nana Kay quizzes them on how they can change and amend it whiles they get a lot of benefits.

Nevertheless, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are the ones who are supposed to change Article 71 and the other articles of the 1992 constitution but not the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because they created and passed it.

Nana Kay said that the late Jerry John Rawlings was the one who brought the 1992 constitution of Ghana so apart from him and his Government (NDC), no one can change the constitution, not even the ruling government.

Nana Kay disclosed that he is making this statement to wait for Johnson Asiedu Nketia to whether he will make a speech concerning Togbe Afede’s action.
