Former Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah following the 30th anniversary of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) has shared some achievements of the party.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Friday, 10th June 2022, he wrote;
“On the 30th anniversary of our great NDC party, let me share this special photos story with you.With these photos among others, you’ll find some key achievements of the NDC in the digital space of Ghana:
1. The NCA Tower
2. The National Data Centre
3. The Accra Digital Centre “
Dr. Omane Boamah also shared a photo of himself and President Mahama during the inauguration of the over 800kilometers Eastern Corridor Fiber Optic project.
According to Dr. Omane Boamah, the e-services platform developed by the Mahama regime served as a driver for digitalisation in Ghana.
Background
The comments of Dr. Omane Boamah follows the 30th anniversary celebration for NDC after it changed from PNDC to NDC in 1992. Jerry John Rawlings a military leader under the PNDC regime, returned Ghana to democratic rule after allowing elections in 1992.
Many people have reacted to the pictures of the achievements shared by Dr Omane Boamah. Some said the lists are evidence that of Mahama was a visionary leader.
Others also quizzed that, if JDM was good then why did Ghanaians voted against him?
