2022 final year candidates for the West African Secondary School Certificate Examinations are proving to be deviant. Student’s are now skipping lessons and not going to school. After completely registering for the WASSCE, some students have decided not to show up to school. And those that manage to go to school skip classes and lessons.
These students after the WASSCE registration feel that there is no need to come to school regularly anymore, so they are just waiting till time is due for the WASSCE so they can write and complete. On account of this behavior, a PTA meeting was organized a while back to inform the parents so they can monitor their wards
This decision was to make sure that students are also present in school, and are regular for all classes. Teachers and guardians are working together to make sure of this, so as to check the deviant behavior’s of the students.
Strict rules and regulations are being put in place to monitor students, as parents are also helping to make sure that their wards are always present in school.
