Ace Ghanaian Hiplife singer, Sonni Kwabena Amoako Akoanor, widely known by his stage name, Sonni Balli was reported to have given up the ghost yesterday.

The prominent artiste who has been the secret behind the emergence of some of the big names in the Ghanaian music industry like Stonebwoy, Samini, and Shatta Wale died on 9th June 2022. He died at 40 years.
Sonni has reigned in the scene as one of the most successful hiplife/dancehall crooners Ghana has ever produced until in recent times, he was missing in the scene until yesterday, news broke of his sudden demise.
Well, rumors circulating social media have it that the musician passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Although these claims have not been confirmed by any relative of the musician, most of the musicians e assisted along with other celebrities took o their social media to sadly react to the death of the sensational singer.

In other news, two armed robbers identified as Emeka Opara and Samuel Kalo have reportedly been sentenced to twenty years each in imprisonment for robbery.
The two suspects were reportedly apprehended by the police in Kumasi, Ashanti Region on May 30th, 2022 after they attacked a civilian at EcoBank at Abrepo Junction and managed to make away with a bag containing an amount of GHc30,000.
The police managed to retrieve the money they stole from their victim and eventually prosecuted them. Even though it is now a policy in the Ghana Police Service that a suspect’s image will not be displayed until they are being convicted, these two had their pictures shared on social media after they were duly convicted.
The police further urged the general public who recognizes these two to kindly notify them of other crimes they have committed so far.
