We are against this LGBTI and we support Sam George 100% on this agenda: Massive reactions on LGBTI

LGBTQ billboard in Ghana is affront to 1992 Constitution, pull it down – Sam George

Readers can recall how the Ningo-Prampram lawmaker said the LGBT billboard is an offense to the 1992 Constitution and asked the IGP to act immediately within the next twenty-four hours. According to the lawmaker, failure to take action, as citizens, he and others will take action as enjoined by the Constitution to defend the Constitution. He made this strong statement while he and some lawmakers and anti-gay activists such as Moses Foh-Amoaning visited the location of the billboard on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

In fact, many Ghanaians have rendered their support to Sam George on his statements on the billboard.

For example, Torgbui Benson Afiawo Reuben supported the lawmaker and added that Ghanaians are against the LGBT and yet people erect large billboards in support. He further questioned why gays should override the rights of Ghanaians.

Sabastian Dang-be also said he found it funny that there was enough space for such a billboard where a National Cathedral is a priority over solving issues like poor roads, perennial food, and a failing educational system.

Godfigure Ofosu Eric also asked if the National Security can do something about the said billboard.

Nabia Micky Adazu also added his voice and explained that the LGBT was not entertained in Tamale, Wa, and Bolgatanga.

Paulson Eyram Brownfield also requested that the LGBT should be ‘fought’ before it becomes unstoppable. He asked Sam George not to relent on the ‘fight’ against it.

Koo Brewu also asked the authorities to sanction the said advertising behind it.

Francis Nyatsikor was worried that a country that wants to build a National Cathedral could allow such a thing to happen.

Gideon Mensah Yawson prayed that the sponsors of the bill should live long whilst asking if the MCE or DCE for the area can be fired for allowing the billboard to be mounted.

Samuel Amaning also gave 100% support to Sam George’s agenda and even added that the LGBT was against the laws of the Nation.

From the public reactions, are Ghanaians in support of Sam George’s request to pull down the LGBTI billboard?
