According to him they have recorded 5 Seperate cases of the deadly monkey pox in the Western, Eastern and Greater Accra Regions. In the case of the Accra victim, he had returned from the United States of America.
Doctor Kuma Aboagye added that, although there are no approved or recommended vaccines for the new virus, that doesn’t mean that they will leave their guards for the virus to escalate.
The general public is therefore advised by the Ghana Health Service to be on the outlook because the virus is real.
Doctor Kuma Aboagye made all these known to the press some few minutes ago. Confirmation of the deadly monkey pox in Ghana isn’t a good news so let’s keep ourselves safe and live for the building of mother Ghana.
