Recently, there was a campaign on social media against the taxation of sanitary pads. A product that relieves some inconvenience in the female menstrual period. Most women claimed that the prices of sanitary pads are becoming expensive by the day.
In a documentary made by one of Ghana’s reputable media houses aimed at throwing light on the issue of expensive sanitary pads in the country, a lady claimed that she is compelled to use baby diapers to hold her monthly flow due to the outrageous prices of sanitary pads.
