Paul Adom Otcheee has elaborated on his earlier comment on the ex gratia saga that has taken over the internet. There have even been a press statement condemning some words used by the media journalist as he explained in his opinion, the reason why he thinks the ex gratia refund and the comment from Togbe Afede was not the best. Like I stated, even though this was his personal opinion, he was heavily lambasted by people who think his level of propaganda as a media journalist is above the neck.
Paul has reached in a comment in which he seeks to explain the details of his actions and why he thinks he is not wrong. He feels his words have been misnintedpreted because he did not mean to send the message that people think he sent. He wanted to make it clear that there is acceptance and receive of funds during this ex gratia process. He was only concerned about why the money was returned after it had been received or accepted and not to paint any bad image.
Paul revealed that during his submission, he made sure these were all questions thrown to the general public to receive their opinions on this move by Togbe Afede and not to call him names like people are making it seem. For him, he claims he is committed to doing his work and avoiding all sort of bias. Paul says he has spoken about matters concerning both the Npp and the Ndc but he doesn’t understand why any comment that seems to favor one side a little bit at a point becomes a problem when he does this genuinely for both sides. Paul said that we don’t judge from one perspective, that is why he spoke about several factors that could lead to the refund and the already trending reactions that were going on on social media.
