A lady called Charlotte was in a relationship with her boyfriend named George Aboagye from Awukugua when they were in Junior high school. She travelled to Kumasi after she completed Junior High School but they were still in a relationship. Years later, she travelled to Lebanon, it took her 8 months before she was able to chat with George again.
The lady said her boyfriend explained to her that he doesn’t any work doing. The guy told her that a man has promised to help recruit him in the military service, she sent her GHC2,500 for the recruitment. Charlotte said she came back to Ghana the following year to find out that he didn’t get the chance to enter the military service. The lady said she decided to help him travel to Lebanon, she again gave him GHC5,00 for the documents.
Weeks later, she again travelled to Saudi Arabia, she received another message from him that he has used the GHC500 to buy a police form but he was disqualified because of the tattoo he has. George again told her he needs money to open a container shop. She then told him that his sister too is in Saudi Arabia so he can get money from her. This time around she didn’t give him the money. In 2019, she advised him to travel to Accra and work hard to support himself. George then requested money for transport, she sent him GHC450 but didn’t hear from him again.
Three months later, George again informed her that another person has promised to help him enter the police service, he again asked for GHC500 but she told him the truth that she doesn’t have money to send him again. George again asked for another money from her best friend in Lebanon to help him to buy the things he will need for the police service. Because she didn’t give him the money he requested he became angry about that.
He was posted to Oda after passing out in the the police service. Charlotte again gave him GHC3,300 to buy the basic things he will use to decorate his new room. He made a video and sent it her to prove that he used the money to decorate the room. Charlore again said the man told her to buy iPhone for him but she bought him Samsung phone A11 instead. The lady said she came back to Ghana on 25th August 2021.
She decided to visit him at his house but he didn’t allow her to go to where he is staying. George again told her that he didn’t use the money to buy those things but used it to get medical treatment for his mother. They had a fight because of what he told her and even she threatened to invoke a curse on him due to how she used all her money to take care of him. The lady wanted to her boyfriend pay back all the money she gave her because of what he told her.
