Former Ghana goalkeeper, Fatawu Dauda has described Black Stars 2023 AFCON qualifiers as tricky.
The Black Stars share four points after two qualifying games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar in the opener and a 1-1 with Central African Republic. With four games to qualify for the tournament in Côte D’Ivoire next year, Fatawu Dauda calls for a step at a time.
“Very tricky group, on paper we are ahead but I’m not sure they will underrate any team because of what happened at the AFCON. “So let’s just wait and see, let’s just take it match after match.
“If we qualify then we know we have qualified and then we take it from there.” Fatawu Dauda told Radio Gold Sports. Fatawu Dauda has a rich experience having kept for Ghana clubs, Okwawu United, AshantiGold and Legon Cities fc. He has had stints with South African PSL clubs, Orlando Pirates and Chippa United.
