In all schools, mocks are given to students on the base of improving their intellect. Other reasons are, to make the student known to the various ways in which questions can be set in the WASSCE. In the senior high, all form three’s take part in mock writing. A number of mocks are written on account of checking the students capabilities and performance. A school can give up to over five mocks, for students to write.
This year’s mock writing is a little different from the past ones. Student’s have written fewer mocks than they are expected to, others have so far written just one mock paper. And unfortunately WASSCE is just around the corner. Though some schools if not all, are planning for their students to take a mock test in the coming month of July.
A precise date is not given as to when, but pupils will write a mock test in July. A school like Wesley Grammar have just taken only one mock test, the upcoming mock in July will make it two mocks that the form three’s have written so far. Circumstances made it so, that these students will just have only two mock tests.
