The host of the Newsfile Show on Joy News, Lawyer Samson Lardy Anyenini, has dropped fresh evidence of how some people who call themselves, “Asafo groups”, and extort Ghanaians who buy lands to develop on them. Samson Lardy shared, what looked like a list, from these Asafo people to one Ghanaian. He revealed that this list had made rounds on social media and he did not like the reactions.
Contained in that list were demands for one big ram, two white fowls, one crate of white eggs, two bottles of castle bridge, one bottle of whiskey, half piece of white calico and an amount of Thirty Thousand Ghana Cedis. The author of that letter containing that list stated emphatically that the land will be released for development only if the provision of that demands is made.
Samson Lardy Anyenini revealed that the people engaged in these practices will be arrested and made to pay a fine close to GHc 10,000 since the President recently accented into law, a bill that called for the punishment of issues of such nature.
