Sarkodie has been one of the most influential top Ghanaian rapper and celebrity as well.
Due to his consistency and ability to rap both in the local and foreign (English) dialect he has won numerous awards and several top foreign nominations which he has been able to win some as well.
But here is the case where Sarkodie has been so silent about this current administration. During former president John Dramani Mahama’s period, Sarkodie backlashed of the problems that happened under his administration and a clear example is when the increment of fuel prices went up.

This is a post Sarkodie made in the year 2013 when the NDC government was in power but he has remained silent over this NPP government.
There are so many wrong policies and problems occuring under this current government and a clear example is the implementation of the e-levy, fuel prices rising up every week, cost of water and electricity bills rising drastically, costs of merchandise rising up in our various markets and ‘dumsor’ also going on in some regions.
I mean to say, he is currently quiet over this administration and hasn’t condemned anything bad about this ruling government and we are patiently waiting to hear from him soon.
