The death of one of Ghana’s celebrated actors, Psalm Adjetefio, came unexpectedly to Ghanaians as he was in the news for the past few months granting interviews on radio and TV stations.
At his funeral, his elder son made some shocking revelations and also sent some messages to the legend’s critics. He narrated how his late father had prepared him towards leading his other three siblings. He added that he died at a time that God himself had planned and no man can question that.
When a journalist asked the elder son what he can do in his own way to preserve the good reputation of his celebrated daddy, his response was a bit technical. According to the first born of the legendary actor, he can not do anything to preserve the name of his dad because Mr. Psalm Adjetefio has done it all.
He narrated how he felt when he saw his father motionless in bed and how he drew the attention of the others because he obviously did not expect his father’s death.
When he was asked what he would tell the critics of his late father, who kept calling him names whilst he was alive, his reply was a witty one. He explained that now that his father is dead, his name will rest.
His son took the opportunity to thank all those who took the time to attend the funeral and anyone who presented a gift. It is very sad to reminisce a very hard-working and amazing actor like Psalm Adjetefio who was popularly known as TT due to his role as a Taxi Driver in the series. Many remember this great man for how he ended the regular TV series with his ‘see yaa’ trademark. May the late Psalm Adjetefio rest in perfect peace. What do you remember Psalm Adjetefio for? What are your reactions to the revelations made by his elder son?
