Two players in the Ghana Premier League were cut off from the Black Stars squad. They were not omitted for no reason as it seems their behavior on camp was not in the interest of the technical team. It was said that their omission was due to their poor performance during training and other camp activities. These players are Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Augustine Okrah.
Ashes Gyamera who is a freelance journalist is the one who came out with the information. According to him, the players were used as defenders at the camp.
He said that in the case of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, he was very talkative and used to joke around with the Senior Players at the camp. According to him the coach did not find it amusing and omitted him. He also added that Augustine Okrah was a very dull player at the camp, meaning he didn’t speak much and was not to the liking of the coach.
