Former Elite Division campaigners Okwawu United have been drawn in Group A in the upcoming Eastern Regional Second Division Middle League contest.
The competition which leads to qualification to the National Division One League, DOL, is set to begin on June 15 in the Eastern Region.
Okwawu United are hoping to secure the promotion ticket from the region and, they will have to do it the hard way after being drawn in a tough group.
The Soccer Mountaineers has been housed in a group that contains Port City FC, Susubiribi FC and Galaxy FC as they continue with their quest to secure qualification to the second tier league.
United topped their zonal league contest for the loss of just one game, and, they will look to continue from where they left off in the league.
They will be strong favourites to qualify from this group despite being handed a tricky draw in this upcoming contest.
Okwawu United will hope to finish top of the group and go on to contest the grand finale that leads to promotion to the DOL.
The winner of Group A will meet the top side in Group B in a grand finale to determine which side makes it to the second tier league next season.
