Hello lovelies! Addiction we all know it is very dangerous and can even lead us to places, we definitely do not want to be. Take a moment and breathe. Do not shy away from getting closer to God. It is possible that after everything you’ve been through, concerning your addiction, He still wants you. These addictions can either be drugs, alcohol or even the act of sexual pleasures.
Do not be hard on yourself. Below, kindly read on these bible verses to help fight addiction. Hope these would help while you fight. Have time for God and let Him guide through it.
1. Matthew 26:41
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.
2. James 4:7
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
3. Psalms 50:15
“And call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me”.
Do not think that it is too late to turn a new life. For as long as there is life, there is hope. There is a quote I really love, that goes “I know you are tired, I know you feel like giving up, but you are not going to. You know why? Because you are strong and when you’ve survived through all that your addiction has put you through, you can survive recovery.
