There are a lot of Ghanaians who believe that Ghana cannot be compared to European countries when it comes to the cleanliness of the environment. A Ghanaian lady living in the United Kingdom has displayed a dirty environment in London and this has got many Ghanaians talking.
Watching the video carefully, you can see that a settlement in London is full of rubbish. You can see that the dustbins within the vicinity are all full and the people living there are still throwing the rubbish on the streets. Some put the rubbish in polythene bags and throw them on the street.
The Ghanaian lady was overheard in the video saying this in the typical Twi language, “Kojo, look at this. You people have been saying that Ghana is one of the dirtiest countries in the world. But this is the Queen’s land, the United Kingdom, London to be precise. They have been bluffing that they are the first world country and we are the third world country.
But with this dizziness, Ghana is even better. The people that live here are all black people”. Some Ghanaians after watching the video said that this comparison is wrong. Just look at the settlement in London and compare that to Accra or Kumasi. There is a vast difference between these two countries and besides, she said that the people living in that vicinity are all black.
