Fix the country campaigners have flooded social media platforms with thier intended June 4th Demonstration which is going to cause a massive stir in the country. However, their proposal to the Police Headquarters to embark on the demonstration, shows that they will embark on the demonstration with weapons.
After Critical look into the proposal, the Ghana Police Service headed by Inspector General IGP, Dr Akuffo Dampare did not agree for the protestors to embark on June 4th Demonstration. Due to the sensitivity of the case, the Police Service Petitioned Ghana High Court to prohibit Oliver Barker and his squad from embarking on the demonstration.
On this faithful Friday 3rd June 2022, The High Court releases a new notice which places Oliver Barker and his squad in a tight conner. According to the notice released by the High Court, Oliver Barkar and his guys have no legal right to embark on June 4th Demonstration especially with weapons.
This is a bold and good steps taken by the IGP to restrict the protestors from embark on their demonstration on 4th June 2022. Don’t Joke with IGP.
