The former Member of Parliament for the Ngleshi Amanfro constituency, Sylvester Tetteh, has spilled a probable internal secrets in the New Patriotic Party, which is about the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, who has spent a year in the office of IGP. Sylvester Tetteh revealed that the IGP does not respect most of Nana Addo’s appointees because of his recent actions and inactions. He stated boldly that George Dampare does not respect the Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery and the Interior Minister, under whose ministry, the Ghana Police Service can be found.
“Let us all be honest. This is no NPP and NDC matter. The IGP has no respect for the institution which he is under. He does not respect the Interior Minister.
“The letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows that he himself does not respect the structures under which he serves.”,he explained.
