Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Criss Waddle said he moved to the United States of America in 2010 where he met a producer named Deep Beatz approached him and asked him to record on some beats he sent him so they put out songs because he was in love with his talent.

He stated that the producer had a studio of his own, hence recording was very easy for him then and they managed to put out a few songs. However, in the course of their dealings, the producer introduced him to Medikal and they linked up through digital means.

Criss Waddle revealed that Medikal asked for his help in promoting his music but as at then, he was a member of Omar Sterling’s record label, R2Bees, hence he thought it wise to establish his own record label just so he can sign Medikal and give him the support he needs and that was what inspired the formation of AMG Business.

He revealed that when he released his first hit song “Ayi”, he had not reached out to any radio station in Ghana for promotions but Medikal informed him that he heard the song on YFM just a few days after the song was released.

Criss Waddle further stated that due to the fact that his song was one of the hottest in Ghana in 2012, he came back to Ghana for some shows and linked up with Medikal as well.
