Ex-Ghana international, Felix Aboagye says Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has gathered much experience in a short time to be under pressure.
Addo led Ghana to the 2022 FIFA World Cup after going past rivals, Nigeria over two legs and will host Madagascar in the opening 2023 AFCON qualifiers in Cape Coast on Wednesday. Felix Aboagye has much confidence in the German trained.
“Even the World Cup we have qualified so going to the AFCON must not be a problem to Otto Addo. “So far I think he has done a yeoman’s job, he has done very wonderfully well, qualifying Ghana to the World Cup. “It’s a plus to him so qualifying to the AFCON 2023 should not be a worry to him. “I think so far he has assembled a great team which I think he can pick the best 11 to represent Ghana.
“I know he will be under pressure but Ghana is a big country, we are a football nation and I don’t think Madagascar should be a worry for Otto Addo and the Black Stars players. “Otto Addo is doing very well so far so we need to support him and make sure that he assembles a good team so that we can win our game.” Felix Aboagye Gold TalkSport.
